God closes one door, and opens yet another...

Biloxi, for the moment, is gone.

This is not the first time - just the worst time.

We were so naïve – thinking that the hurricanes of '47 and Camille were so bad. They were, but they were nothing compared to Katrina – that struck with a ferocity beyond anything imaginable.

To all the people of Biloxi past, present, and those to come – I dedicate this piece that I compiled three years ago. I invite you to share my memories of that beautiful past - long past.

Memories … all that remains of the place I once called my home town.
